Gaby + Trey met at their good friends’ engagement party in 2009. Two conclusions were made that first night. For Gaby…he was very handsome, but total cowboy…which meant he was not her type at all. For Trey…he had just met the woman of his dreams…the woman he was going to marry – and he was right. Gaby + Trey are so different, and so alike in many ways. Gaby loves sports, hip-hop, dancing like crazy, working out like a nut, the beach and the ocean, crowds and people. Trey, on the other hand, is at his happiest alone or with Gaby and their daughter Oakley, in the woods. As Gaby puts it, “He loves the oldest slowest country music you have ever heard, and despises places with lots of people (Wal-Mart gives him a coronary). But we are perfectly at peace and at our best with each other. I never knew how important horses and agriculture were to me until I knew Trey.” They love the mountains, their daughter, God, and each other. In Trey’s words, “We are awesome.” I couldn’t agree more.
And their wedding was nothing short of awesome. Think beautiful backyard intimate wedding + mechanical bull + crazy dance party + best surprise gift ever on the most beautiful Fall day we had this year in Lake Creek. It was truly amazing. A true celebration.
Gaby + Trey – thank you. It’s been so much fun getting to know you and being a part of such an amazing celebration! I am thrilled to have had the privilege to document it!
Just trying on her hair pieces for Gaby. Haha. These girls were awesome.
Gaby + Trey’s sweet little girl Oakley came for a little visit. As Gaby held her…it reminded everyone in the room what the day was truly about.
Meet Nelly. Trey’s surprise wedding gift :: a beautiful horse!! Yeah.. don’t think you can beat that.
Seriously. Kicking your heels takes talent! Look at that air!
Yup. This happened. Plus – we got to watch Trey show his skills!
