My husband, Agustin described me this way, “"You are like a gooey salted-caramel-chocolate-chip cookie. The right amount of sweet, the right amount of spice, and you don't crumble under pressure."
My superpower is putting people at ease; whether that's behind the camera or on their elopement day solving problems calmly under pressure. I am passionate about building relationships with the people I work with. I want to know what makes you laugh until you cry and what bottle of red wine you buy yourself on a Friday night.
I’ll take that description any day.
Well, that is how my story began. When I was 12 years old I was in a near fatal car accident that left my right arm paralyzed. While this was extremely difficult to adjust to at first, I was determined to continue living life to the fullest; a life modified. As time went on and I continued to defeat the odds, I grew resilient in all my pursuits. So when I was told photography wasn’t possible, I truly viewed it as another challenge to overcome. Giving up was never an option.
I pushed through the impossible to make my dream come true, and that’s what fuels my work...Every. Single. Day.
Agustin and I have fallen in love with the PNW and call it home. We have fallen in love with everything this place has to offer - from the beautiful mountains to the ocean and the culture and food scene that come along with the city of Seattle. We are a big fan, come visit!

I recently spent 3 weeks in Nakuru, Kenya on a documentary photography project for a NGO called Hope for Life Kenya. This organization is addressing the needs and working with kids that have been impacted by HIV AIDS. I went with a team from Wheaton Bible Church and had the privilege of documenting the stories and amazing impact that Hope for Life is having in their community in Kenya.
During the year we lived in Africa, Agustin and I visited our dear friends who live in Pretoria, South Africa and went on a Safari in Kruger National Park. More recently, my friend Juli Watt and I visited Pretoria again and we couldn't resist exploring Cape Town! Cape Town is now on my list of top 5 favorite cities in the world.
