I am SO excited to share this engagement session!  Even though it’s a Friday and many of you won’t be at your computers – I just couldn’t wait another day! Maggie + PJ are one of the most down to earth, kind-hearted, authentic couples you will ever meet.  When they asked if I would be willing to drive out to the Oregon Coast, so we could do their engagement session on the little beach where they go surfing – I, of course, said “um YES!!” I love it when couples really take advantage of their engagement session and invest time to pick a location that is special to them.  Well this session was nothing short of EPIC!  We had a blast!  We started the session exploring a magnificent trail through the woods and then following the shoreline with breath-taking views.  Then we got really good at sprinting back to our cars multiple times to dodge torrential downpours throughout the session, but like PJ said – it wouldn’t be a truly “northwest” session without some rain!  And the rain cleared out every person off the beach, and the skies opened up and we had a beautiful window of sunshine peering through  – and finished the session with playing in waves in the rain.  It truly was magical.  I am so thrilled to photograph Maggie + PJ’s ranch wedding in Colorado this summer – and if their engagement session is just a glimpse of whats to come in July – I know their wedding will be nothing short of amazing! After waiting in the car for 15 minutes for the rain to pass – we decided to just go for it and enjoy some champagne in the rain :-)
