In the summer of 2010, Brittany’s friends decided she really needed to meet this guy Zach. So Brittany’s friend invited her to a baseball game where she knew Zach was playing, and they met for the first time. Zach and Brittany hung out a couple of times, but then Zach was leaving to finish his senior year of college – and sometimes for whatever reason the timing just isn’t right. But Brittany always knew deep down that they were suppose to be together. And she was right. So in January 2013 Zach + Brittany started dating and so whether they are watching Brittany’s favorite sports teams ( She is a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan!), coaching baseball (well..Zach coaches :), or rescuing an animal in need – these two have been inseparable ever since!
When Brittany asked me if I would be open to having her two dogs be a part of our photo shoot, I said “Um yes! I love dogs!!” And given that Brittany is passionately involved in rescuing dogs and getting them in safe homes – I knew how important her two pups to her. Her parents actually run a non-profit Horse Rescue Ranch called The Lacey Foundation, and it made for the perfect backdrop for their engagement session!
Brittany + Zach, I had such a great time getting to know your story and exploring your parents’ beautiful ranch out on a 4 wheelers and I cannot wait for your beautiful Fall Colorado wedding next October! Here are some highlights from our day!
Beautiful, Kelly!! Love everything about this gorgeous session. :)
