Courtney and Jake. When I say their names together a big smile comes to my face.  And anyone who know’s them – knows exactly what I mean.  Courtney + Jake… LIVE life to the fullest. They work REALLY hard (they met on the first day of law school for Pete’s sake!), they LIVE hard and they PLAY hard.  So when I found out that Courtney and Jake were planning to get married in San Pancho, MEXICO – I was thrilled but not surprised.   I knew their wedding would be an adventure and one you don’t want to miss – whether it be on top of a ski mountain or in a tropical paradise!

I have had the honor of documenting three of Courtney’s friends’ weddings (Coulter & Peter, Elise & Ben, Katie & Chris), so we have walked through multiple wedding days together and throughout the years Courtney has become a sweet friend.  She was the bridesmaid that, even with the craze of the day, kept asking if I wanted anything, offering me water, a snack, anything.  Courtney is loyal.  She cares for those she loves and I felt just a glimpse of that.  She truly is a beautiful person. And Jake is one of the most kind-hearted men I have ever met.  So when the time came when Courtney got engaged and asked if I would be a part of their day – I already knew my answer. YES!!

And let me tell you… it was a celebration like no other!! So on a gorgeous day in San Pancho, Mexico, Courtney & Jake invited their close friends and family to celebrate at their destination wedding at Hacienda San Pancho and take part in a day of promises and love.  The whole wedding weekend was relaxed,  joyful, and one heck of a party! Throughout this year I have loved getting to know Courtney and Jake as a couple – they truly are the perfect match!

Jake and Courtney, thank you so much for inviting me to share in such a beautiful and intimate celebration. Your family and friends welcomed me as one of their own and I could not have been happier to capture such an incredible weekend! Congrats you two!! Felicitations!!

Kendall, (MOH and Bride’s sister) was so amazing and she pullled off a magical surprise for the bride and groom! Chinese night lanterns! What a PERFECT WAY to end an even more magical and perfect day!
