Two weeks ago I received an email that I was not expecting.  I was away at the Delight Retreat 2015 (which you will hear about later this week) and during my talk, where I shared my story and spoke on seeing God’s goodness in times of trials, my phone buzzed.  Afterwards, I was chatting with the young women at the retreat when I glanced down at my phone to see an email that caught my eye.  It read,  “We want YOU! We are officially inviting you to join our speaker team for the first ever Spring Pursuit Conference 2016!”  Wait, WHAT?!! Yup… pinch me now, apparently the lovely Karen Stott (founder of Pursuit) wasn’t kidding.   I am so amazed by how God continues to write my story with new chapters that I would never expect.  I feel I am currently in a chapter where God keeps saying, “Kelly, your story is not one that is meant to be hidden, but it is a God story to be shared.”  I am so humbled and honored by the opportunity to share and speak alongside some AMAZING godly women and talented photographers.

So come April 2016 – I will be on my way to Rome, Georgia for the 5th annual Pursuit Spring Conference…as a SPEAKER!  I am SO EXCITED to see what God has in store!!!

Many of you may already be signing up (I hope so!) and others may be asking, what is the Pursuit Community? And I think their vision statement said it beautifully, “Pursuit has now grown into a nationwide community of creatives who live to bring God glory through their work, their homes and their lives.”  The online community has been an incredible blessing to me!  But I have heard so many OUTSTANDING things about the Pursuit Conferences and every time I chat with a woman who has attended they always say that it is truly a conference and experience unlike any other out there.  So basically what I am trying to say is…GO grab your spot!! If you are a woman and love Jesus – you need to mark your calendars for a week of community, education, friendship, and a time to be refreshed!
