Their wedding day was set on Aug 21st on the beautiful island of Kauai; exactly three years from the day they met and half way between Chicago and New Zealand.  There couldn’t be a better time or place for such a special celebration.  I have had the privilege of knowing Meghan my whole life. No, really.  Meghan’s parents, Juli & Dave, are my godparents and our families have been close friends for over 30 years.  I can’t even express the special place the Watt family has in my heart.

Meghan & Olly’s story takes us around the world.  Meghan is from Chicago and Olly is from New Zealand.  Their story began in Malmo, Sweden, where they met and currently work and live. Olly asked Meghan to be his bride and love of his life in Cannes, France. We did their engagement shoot in Istanbul (More to see from that session soon!) and their wedding took place in Hawaii.  I was so excited to meet Meghan and Olly in Istanbul last May, because I had the pleasure of meeting the man who stole Meghan’s heart.  Meghan oozes happiness.  Her smile is contagious!  I couldn’t wait to meet the man who brought her such happiness and joy. Olly truly treasures Meghan.  Agustin & I spent the weekend hanging out with Olly & Meg, exploring, dining, and taking some fun photos.

The wedding day was full of laughter and sweet sweet love.  There were many moments with their closest friends and family, wonderful food, great conversations, and rousing speeches from life-long friends that traveled the world to witness Meg & Olly commit to their lives to one another.  Meghan & Olly, thank you.   I love you two so much and am so honored to have had the opportunity to witness and document your contagious love!

Pretty much best wedding party ever.  Photos with wedding parties are always a blast, but when they are your friends…it’s awesome.
