Candace + Sean first met as kids, when they were singing their hearts out at gospel choir practice, but their paths didn’t cross again for two decades! Sean’s brother, James, walked into Candace’s work one day and remembered Candace from the choir days and knew that Candace and Sean needed to reconnect. It didn’t take long for Sean to invite Candace out for coffee…which quickly turned into one of those “three hour long coffee dates.” After reconnecting as friends, Sean asked Candace out on their first date – a Blackstreet concert, and in Sean’s words, “The rest is history!”
Sean is outgoing, caring, and full of energy! Candace is quiet (until she gets to know you), passionate, and sweet. Together they make an amazing team that pushes those around them to live life to the fullest and to do so with authenticity. They are two of the sweetest people and they know how to celebrate!
Candace + Sean’s wedding day was truly one of class and elegance. When Candace shared with me that they were planning a 1920’s inspired wedding – I was so eager to see how it all came together and man, it was a wedding I will never forget! Candace suggested that we take their portraits at University of Washington’s campus (where she attended) and the classic brick buildings made for the most incredible backdrop! I am falling in love with Seattle and the University of Washington is such an incredible photo location! The celebration continued at the Landing at Northcut, where Sean + Candace busted some pretty impressive moves! I have been so excited to share this wedding – so without further ado – here it is!
I love this sweet moment! This was the first time Candace caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror! Priceless!
