Heather + Russell share a love story fit for a chick flick that you might watch with your girlfriends at the movies. Russell + Heather first met in junior high when their lockers were right next door to each other. They noticed each other. Over the years, they shared many mutual friends throughout high school and college but it never seemed to be the right time. Until 2008 that is, when their story took a romantic twist. Heather was in Knoxville and had remembered Russell asking her to message him if she was ever in the neighborhood. So she did, with no hope of expecting to hear back. Russell responded instantly! “I’ll be there in 10 minutes.” They went onto a rooftop and talked late into the night, confessing to their feelings for each other dating back to high school. So their new journey began and after spending three years living in separate cities, Heather moved to Knoxville and it didn’t take long for them both to know that this was meant to be forever.
Heather + Russell’s Memphis wedding at Windyke Country Club was nothing short of amazing. It was a perfect, warm Fall day for their beautiful outdoor ceremony Heather + Russell exchanged promises in front of their family and friends, and celebrated the only way they knew how – with laughter, tons of fun, and one EPIC dance party! Which if you know Heather + Russell, you would expect nothing less! They have dance moves like you wouldn’t believe! :)
Heather + Russell, since the first time we met and got caught in a torrential rain storm at your engagement session – I knew you two were a fantastic team and always up for an adventure! Thank you so much for inviting me into your warm circle of friends and family for one incredible celebration! By the way, your wedding may have won me over…I now can say I love the bow-tie look!
