Sam + Carrie are on to a new adventure. Their officiant had asked Sam + Carrie to write a letter about why they wanted to marry the other, and as they read these letters during their ceremony, tears began to fill their eyes while they heard the sweet words. Surrounded by their family and best of friends, they sealed their promises with a kiss.
Carrie + Sam are two Colorado natives, that were introduced at a house party in Fort Collins by Carrie’s best friend (who was also appropriately her maid of honor.) After spending the last six years + exploring and growing as a couple, Sam knew there was no other woman for him. So on Christmas morning, Carrie woke up to Sam handing her a cup of coffee and a beautiful letter sharing his heart. The letter: the promises he had for the future, and now.. on their wedding day – he shared those promises on more time.
The sun shined bright, and it was a beautiful Colorado blue sky day. There was no way you could wipe Carrie’s contagious smile from her face. It was a true celebration. Two families really felt like one and they dined and danced all night long!
Carrie + Sam, it was such a pleasure getting to know you two throughout this journey! Thank you for making me feel so welcome and cared for! The way you love people is truly remarkable and I can’t wait to see where this next adventure takes you!
All the members of the Newmyer family has a ring with their initials – so as a special way to welcome Carrie into his family – Sam had a ring made for her! Sam’s sister Kent,(far left),had a matching ring. It was such a special gift that truly set the tone for the day!
Carried ROCKED that Hayley Paige gown!! It was so elegant, yet still playful – a perfect dress for Carrie!
