Maria + Dave’s boho Sayulita destination wedding was truly straight out of a dream!
Maria + Dave described their meeting as “We are one of the few successful couples that actually met on Tinder.” Maria is from Colombia and was new to Seattle and she decided to try out Tinder on a whim, never really expecting it to turn into something real. It did not take long for Maria + Dave to realize they had something really special. From cuddling up on the couch watching ridiculous TV shows, to making breakfast for dinner or planning their next adventure around the globe – their love has deepened and shaped over the years.
Then on a trip to Southern France as they were drinking wine, watching the sunset, Dave knew that the moment had come and he asked Maria to be his wife, partner, and love.
Fast forward – the wedding weekend in Sayulita, Mexico has arrived!! Sayulita is a small, colorful, charming and authentic town – the perfect destination for friends and family traveling from different parts of the world to celebrate their love.
From the incredible views of the jungle and the ocean, to a heartfelt ceremony as waves crashed along the rocks below, to their first dance to a Colombian song (with authentic Colombian hats too!) under the glow of sparklers, to homemade churros to order, and one heck of a dance party – Maria + Dave’s wedding was the destination wedding of their dreams and it truly felt like them. Maria + Dave – thank you for inviting me to Sayulita, Mexico and treating me like family! I am so grateful I had the opportunity to capture such a beautiful story! I can’t wait to share this wedding below!
