I’m so excited to share about Devin + Gabe’s PNW engagement shoot!  These two share such a playful and flirtatious connection, yet are so down to earth and caring. It has been such a joy walking alongside them this year. 

Devin + Gabe were originally supposed to get married at a lush garden venue showcasing the greenery of the PNW. Then Covid hit. We pivoted and they downsized to a small intimate wedding at Devin’s family home on the coast of Oregon. Devin grew up going there in the summer! Devin shared that she wanted to find a location that had similar vibes to their original wedding venue for their engagement session.

Finding the right location

I started the hunt for their engagement session location and we decided on Twin Willows Gardens! It was the perfect spot for two reasons: is it stunning with lots of variety and I knew we wanted to include Bowie, Devin + Gabe’s pup. Twin Willows was a perfect fit!

Hint: brides looking for a beautiful dog friendly venue – Twin Willows is amazing!! Rebecca is a huge dog lover and so accommodating!

It was such a magical PNW night and to see Devin + Gabe together. Watching them take a break from the stress of planning during COVID made my heart so happy!

It’s times like these that we as wedding vendors can really shine. When hard times come, it is an opportunity to really step up and give your couples all you have! It means the world to them to be able to provide an incredible experience while keeping them safe! 

Yes, it took some extra research and phone calls to find a location that matched Devin’s dream, but it paid off! There is nothing like a lush, green, PNW engagement shoot! Friends, when it comes to customer service it is always worth it!
