welcome to the blog.

A day in the life of the Bartee Family!

People and Portraits

Agustin and I have been so blessed by a couple of families here in Accra that have welcomed us into their homes, the Bartee Family being one of them! Brian and Anna have such a vibrant love for each other and for their four beautiful girls.  They are so giving and a joy to be around – plus they have a love for Colorado! Come on, if you love Colorado, you have a special place in my heart! They have been living here in Ghana during Brian’s assignment with the U.S. embassy, but that assignment is coming to a close and they will be moving back to the U.S. soon.  We are sad to see them go, but excited to have new friends with a connection that will last even when we are oceans apart. Okay..I’m getting a bit sappy – sorry ;)  Well yesterday I broke away from my normal routine of preparing for the wedding season or working with the NGO EPAWA, and had the great privilege to document their excitement for life and the love of Ghana that their family shares. We had a blast! Note to self: when photographing a family in Africa – wrap up the session with ice cream. It does wonders! Here are a few of the images from yesterday’s session!

Elopement ready?

I would love to be your elopement photographer and guide!

My superpower is putting people at ease; whether that's behind the camera or on their elopement day solving problems calmly under pressure. I am passionate about building relationships with the people I work with.
