Ben + Lolly truly are meant for each other. Lolly + Ben both grew up on Mercer Island and even attended the same high school, though a different times…and even though their lives were in such close proximity – it took flying out to Hawaii for a friends destination wedding for these two to connect! During their time at the wedding – Lolly definitely made an impression, so upon returning home to Seattle Ben knew he didn’t want to continue walking through this journey without Lolly by his side!
When I first met Lolly – we instantly connected! She is so sweet and welcoming! She told me about her family’s beach house out in Allyn, WA and how special it was for her and her family – and it is also the location where Ben proposed! I could not picture a better spot for their engagement session! Lolly + Ben and Lolly’s family were so wonderful and invited Agustin and I (and Toby!) to join them for an evening on the beach – we took their engagement photos then they invited us to share a meal together! It’s not every day that I get to meet a couple’s family so early on in the process and it was amazing!! And after spending more time with Lolly and then meeting her family – I could see where she got her welcoming heart from! I absolutely loved building those connections and I can’t wait to celebrate with them for Lolly + Ben’s wedding at Chihuly Glass museum in March!
Lolly + Ben’s love for each other is so vibrant and you can tell – they just LOVE spending time together! We had such a blast exploring the forest, (WHICH HAD MAGICAL LIGHTING!) and then went out on their canoe! Here are a few highlights from our wonderful evening at the family beach home.
This is the very spot where Ben asked Lolly to forever be by his side and be his wife!
It was a perfect day in the PNW and you could see Mt Rainier!
Agustin + Toby got to join us on the boat as we were taking photos of Lolly + Ben in the canoe! Lolly’s dad was so sweet and took us out on the boat wherever we needed to go to get the best shots! It was perfect :)
Lovely couple & great shots!
